The LeadWithHer Summer Gathering 2026 is an in-person working session taking place in Brussels as part of the #LeadWithHer Mentorship Programme, bringing together mentors and mentees to continue developing leadership, communication, and advocacy skills through hands-on collaboration and peer learning.
The #LeadWithHer Mentorship Programme is a joint initiative by Eduxo.eu and The Nine, designed to support and empower young women across Europe in strengthening their leadership capacities in activism, civil society, policy, and public life. It creates a structured but collaborative environment where participants learn through exchange, reflection, and practical experience, building both confidence and concrete skills for social impact.
The LeadWithHer Summer Gathering is an in-person working session bringing together mentors and mentees of the programme for a mid-cycle milestone focused on skills development, reflection, and collective growth. The session builds on the foundations established during the kick-off session held in May, where participants first met and started shaping their mentorship journey.
This gathering focuses on strengthening public speaking, storytelling, and advocacy skills through interactive exercises, group collaboration, and practical tools that help participants translate ideas into action and communicate effectively with different audiences.
The session brings together 14 mentors and 28 mentees in a collaborative working environment designed to reinforce their mentorship relationships while developing practical leadership and communication skills. Through a combination of public speaking exercises, advocacy-focused group work, and wellbeing practices, participants will explore how to structure and deliver impactful messages, overcome barriers such as stage fright, and adapt communication strategies to different contexts. The session also creates space for reflection on the mentorship journey so far, encouraging participants to evaluate progress, strengthen connections, and continue building a shared sense of purpose within the programme.
By the end of the LeadWithHer Summer Gathering 2026, participants are expected to feel more confident in their public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a clearer understanding of how to communicate ideas in an impactful and audience-aware way. The session is designed to strengthen mentor–mentee relationships through collaborative practice and shared reflection, while also supporting personal growth, resilience, and motivation at the midpoint of the programme. Participants leave the session with renewed energy, a stronger sense of direction, and practical tools to continue developing their leadership journey within the #LeadWithHer community.
