#LeadWithHer Mentorship Programme – Online Workshop

The next session of the #LeadWithHer Mentorship Programme will explore how to transform a social concern into a clear, focused and actionable advocacy strategy.

Building on the opening session, this interactive online workshop is designed to strengthen participants’ practical skills in advocacy and campaign design. The focus will be on moving from identifying an issue to structuring a realistic and strategic advocacy action.

What participants will explore

Throughout the session, participants will work on:

• Distinguishing between a broad social issue and a specific advocacy problem
• Defining a clear and achievable advocacy objective
• Identifying key stakeholders, allies, decision-makers and target audiences
• Crafting a concise and effective advocacy message
• Selecting appropriate advocacy tactics
• Ensuring advocacy actions are strategic, inclusive and realistic

Format

The workshop combines short inputs with interactive and applied learning methods, including peer exchange, breakout group work, mentor feedback and practical exercises.

Participants will collaborate in small groups to develop a draft mini advocacy action plan and, where time allows, will have the opportunity to share their work in plenary.

Outcome

By the end of the session, participants will have developed a draft mini advocacy plan that can serve as a foundation for future civic, organisational, or campaign work.
