Brussels Pride 2026 — 30 Years of Pride in Brussels

Brussels Pride 2026 invites you to come as you are and celebrate 30 years of Pride in the heart of the city.

On Saturday, 16 May 2026, Brussels becomes a shared space of visibility, joy, and community as thousands of people take over the streets to celebrate LGBTQIA+ lives, rights, and futures.

This year marks a major milestone: 30 years of Pride in Brussels. Three decades of visibility, activism, and collective progress.

Under the theme “When times get darker, we shine brighter”, this edition is a powerful reminder of resilience and unity. In a world where equality is still challenged, Brussels Pride stands as a moment to come together, be seen, and celebrate louder than ever.

About Brussels Pride

Brussels Pride marks 30 years of Pride in the city, honouring decades of struggle, visibility, and joy from LGBTQIA+ communities.

What started as a march has become one of the most vibrant moments of the year in Brussels: a day where the city belongs to everyone.

It’s a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a reminder of the work still ahead.

Programme

From the early afternoon, Brussels Pride spreads across the city and turns it into a shared space of celebration, visibility and connection.

At the heart of the day is the Pride Village at Mont des Arts, where associations, organisations and community groups come together to meet the public, share their work and create a welcoming space for exchange. It’s a place to discover, connect and feel part of the wider LGBTQIA+ community.

As the day unfolds, the streets fill with the Pride Parade, a vibrant moment where thousands of people walk together through the city centre. Music, colour and energy take over Brussels as the march becomes one of the most powerful expressions of visibility and solidarity of the year.

Throughout the city, performances, music stages and cultural activities bring Pride to different corners of Brussels, creating a continuous atmosphere of celebration from afternoon until late evening.
