Eugenia Rossi

she/her

Board Member

Brussels, Belgium (Italian)

Bio

Eugenia Rossi (1995) is a feminist policy and civil society practitioner committed to equality, solidarity, and democratic participation. She cares about the gap between rights on paper and rights in practice, and she is drawn to work that helps communities organise and influence decisions that shape their lives.  Her civic engagement started in high school through Italian associations, and activism has remained a steady thread in her life. Over the years, she has supported initiatives on civic education and social justice, and these experiences continue to shape how she approaches policy and organisational work. Eugenia has lived in several places across Europe and beyond. That international opportunity has strengthened her interest in how different systems treat participation, inclusion, and access to rights. It also informs her commitment to gender mainstreaming and intersectional thinking as a practical habit in how she communicates and builds spaces where people can take part meaningfully. Based in Brussels, she works at the intersection of policy, coordination, and community building, and recently completed a project on Women, Peace and Security, a policy framework that focuses on the gendered impact of conflict and on the inclusion of women in peace and security decisions. Having lived and worked in multilingual environments, she speaks Italian and English fluently and has working knowledge of Spanish and French. She is a Board member since January 2026.

Vashti Ortego

Board Member

Utrecht, The Netherlands (Filipino)

She initiated the Global Feminist Voices, a network of feminists from her cohort at the Global Campus, created to foster critical dialogue, solidarity, and collaborative advocacy. Through this initiative, she works to amplify diverse feminist perspectives and young feminist exchanges to strengthen engagement on gender equality and structural justice at the regional and global levels. As a transfeminist, Vashti advances intersectional approaches to progressive norm-setting within the framework of CEDAW and broader international human rights law. Her work critically engages with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, exploring how evolving interpretations can better address systemic discrimination, gender diversity, and intersecting forms of marginalisation. Vashti speaks both English and Filipino and she has been a Board member since January 2026.

Atty. Andressa Ambrosi Encinas

she/her

Board Member

Berlin, Germany (Italian and Brazilian)

Bio

Atty. Andressa Ambrosi (1992) is a feminist lawyer and writer committed to gender equality, the rule of law, and social justice. She holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and is devoted to advancing systemic change and dismantling structural gender inequalities, believing that advocacy and education lie at the core of transformative change. She worked for over five years at the Brazilian Public Prosecution Service, primarily addressing gender-based and sexual violence against women, children, and gender-diverse individuals. As a Legal Advisor, her work involved promoting criminal accountability, providing legal protection and redress to survivors, and raising awareness of abusive relationships, gender-based violence dynamics, and child sexual abuse prevention. She also contributed to capacity-building initiatives and to the implementation and review of public policies, helping shape institutional responses to gender-based violence (GBV) and child sexual abuse (CSA). Early in her career, this experience shaped how she approaches power dynamics and intersectional discrimination, and clarified the role of equality as a guiding principle in her work. Her background further includes two years overseeing electoral processes and working on cases involving corruption, tax fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes at GAECO, a specialised unit within the Brazilian Public Prosecution Service. Born and raised in Brazil, Andressa has lived in Germany, Italy, and Australia, and is currently based in Berlin. She is a writer on international justice for Peace and Humanity and became a board member of Eduxo.eu in January 2026.
