Queer party Brussels — Dykes to the Front is a community night centering lesbians, trans, bi, pan, and questioning dykes, as well as anyone who challenges gender binaries.
Taking place on the rooftop of Beursschouwburg, this event transforms the venue into a vibrant open-air space dedicated to queer visibility, collective joy, and cultural expression.
More than a party, Dykes to the Front exists as a gathering shaped by community energy and resistance culture, connecting people ahead of the Dyke March in Brussels and celebrating queer identities in all their forms.
Dykes to the Front is rooted in queer nightlife, performance, and community-building. It brings together artists and audiences in a shared space where celebration meets political expression.
The night combines live performance, DJ sets, and experimental stage work, creating a fluid experience that moves from performance to dancefloor without separation. The rooftop setting enhances the atmosphere, offering an open-air summer night experience in the heart of Brussels.
This is a free event (first-come, first-served), meaning access is based on capacity and arrival time; early arrival is strongly recommended.
Expect a high-energy, sweaty and intimate atmosphere where performance and nightlife merge into one continuous flow. The crowd is diverse, queer-centred, and community-driven, creating a space where people can move freely without judgment.
Music spans across genres, including experimental club sounds, R&B, rap, funk and electronic sets, designed to keep the rooftop alive until late.
This is not a passive event; it is participatory in energy, built on presence, respect, and shared space.
